RI & Southern MA locations are lead by LTW Head Coach: Cara Reese (former Wheaton College Head Coach)

The goal of the clinic is to offer consistent training and teach the fundamental skills of the game in a fun and competitive environment. Through repetition of fundamental skills, girls build a strong field hockey foundation preparing them to play at the next level. Practice sessions will include individual skills,importance of vision, 1v1 defense, passing and receiving, scoring tactics and skills. Each session will include coached scrimmages/small sided game play.

* We are not currently offering clinics this spring session in RI - check out our summer programs in RI!

Youth Clinic

The goal of the youth program is to provide an opportunity to introduce field hockey in a fun and supportive environment. Programs are for beginner to intermediate players and are offered seasonally throughout the year. The spring clinics will be held indoors / outdoors on astrograss. Each practice session will include basic fundamental skills, small game play and fun competitions.

Middle School General & Advanced Training Session

Dates: April 29, May 6, May 13, May 20 (no practice on Memorial Day), June 3 & June 10 

Time: 5:30pm - 6:30pm   

Cost: $195

Requirements: 3rd-5th graders, beginner to advanced players welcome
 

 

Middle School Clinic

Practice sessions will include 1v1 skills, passing and receiving and shooting. Each session will include coached scrimmages. Programs are offered to athletes ranging from 5th-8th grade, beginner to advanced players. Participants will be grouped according to their age, playing experience, and current skill level. Goalkeepers are encouraged to register and must provide their own equipment.

*Advanced Training Session Requirements (*You will be asked during registration which session you prefer):  6-8th graders, intermediate to advanced players, 5th graders with experience may register. Players need at least 2 seasons of experience and be ready to learn more advanced skills.  Goalkeepers are always welcome

High School Clinic

The goal of our high school clinics are to provide consistent training and to teach the fundamental and advanced skills of the game in a competitive environment. Through repetition of fundamental skills, girls build a strong field hockey foundation preparing them to play at the next level. Practice sessions will include 1v1 skills, passing and receiving, hitting, reverse skills and shooting. Each session will include coached scrimmages. Programs are offered to athletes ranging from 8th-12th grade, beginner to elite players. Participants will be grouped according to their age, playing experience, and current skill level. This program is well-suited for players unable to commit to the LTW club program, but aspire to improve their skills. Beginner to advanced goalkeepers are encouraged to register and must provide their own equipment.
